2026 Conference on Swarms Images, Manifolds and Ants (SIMA) which is being held at the Technion, organized by the Computer Science Department in honor of Professor Alfred M. Bruckstein, recognizing his decades-long, influential role in shaping the faculty and the field.
SIMA 2026 aims to bring together leading researchers to discuss recent advances in the modeling and analysis of visual data, including images and shapes. The conference will focus on particular emphasis on deep learning, statistics, geometry, imaging science, multi-agents, medical apps and beyond, and will feature internationally renowned professors, recognized for both their scientific excellence and their ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lectures.

The David and Janet Polak Visitors Center | Technion
In order to get into the Technion by car, please tell the guards at the gate about your visit purpose – the SIMA 2026 conference.
Although there is no problem getting inside the Technion by private car, we kindly request that you park outside the Technion, as there are no public parking areas available within the campus. You can find a parking lot outside the Technion Gates.
For those arriving by train or bus, you can use the cable car from Lev Hamifratz station to the Technion.
